Established in 1969, Sunseeker is the yachting industry’s foremost brand for luxury motor yachts and superyachts. Officially renamed Sunseeker International in 1985, the company was founded by Robert and John Braithwaite, and has since become a global phenomenon both within and outside of the market, thanks to the iconic and uncompromising standards of the brand’s yachting super structures.
With a manufacturing base in Poole, Dorset, Sunseeker employs a workforce of around 2,000 people, producing around 150 boats per annum through an unmatched approach to design, performance and craftsmanship. Sunseeker’s Design & Technology Centre is also based in Poole, where every detail of each yacht is vertically integrated to deliver exceptionally high-quality vessels – from concept designs to helm consoles to soft furnishings. With a 98% rate of exportation, Sunseeker works closely with over 100 retail and service locations in 74 countries, delivering stellar service and product support.
Sunseeker’s range of 38-161 feet vessels is continually being updated to set even higher standards and benchmarks within the leisure marine industry, in order to deliver an incomparable experience to its clients. Sunseeker’s yachting concept goes beyond performance on the water. Their yachts’ structural arrangement is factored from the very start during the concept stage, in order to maximise comfort onboard. With a passion for luxury on the water, Sunseeker naval architects and engineers are dedicated to crafting superior motor yachts through a blend of traditional boat building methods and the latest assembly technology.
Established in 2010, Sunseeker Malta Limited was set up to take on the Sunseeker dealership. With a prominent office at Portomaso Marina – home to Malta’s high-net-worth individuals – Sunseeker Malta enjoys a significant client retention percentage and repeat business. In conjunction with supplying the latest Sunseeker yachts, Sunseeker Malta also has an active Brokerage department, giving a new lease of life to pre-owned Sunseeker yachts. Sunseeker Malta also operates the most successful luxury yacht charter division in Malta, and has a select number of commercial and privately owned yachts under its management.
